Ellen Zigmont, PharmD, BCOP

Bio:

Ellen Zigmont is Vice President of Medical Affairs at AnaptysBio, with over 25 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, Food Allergy, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, and inflammatory diseases. She has built and scaled Medical Affairs functions, leading strategies in scientific communications, publications, KOL engagement, congress planning, and field medical operations.

Ellen is recognized for aligning scientific and commercial strategies, fostering partnerships with key opinion leaders, and delivering impactful scientific narratives. Her expertise spans early development through commercialization, and she has successfully led cross-functional teams, mentored high-performing staff, and implemented cost-saving initiatives.

Previously, Ellen held senior roles at Gossamer Bio, Aimmune Therapeutics, Onyx Pharmaceuticals (Amgen), and Genentech/Roche, driving global publication strategies and launching first-in-class therapies. She began her career at Bristol Myers Squibb and has contributed to academia as a Clinical Assistant Professor and IRB member.

Ellen earned her PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Pharmacy from Auburn University. She is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist and an active member of ASCO and the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, and she brings a passion for advancing science and improving patient outcomes to every stage of drug development.
