Do I qualify for a Pharma / Biotech / Medical Device pass?
Applicants must be currently employed at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device organization
Applicants' company must have a therapy in pipeline or manufactures/markets finished medical devices
Applicants cannot be from an existing event sponsor or exhibitor organization
Applicants cannot be from a CMO, CDMO, CRO, PR, advertising or marketing firm, technology provider, consultant, supplier, or vendor organization
Applicants MUST register using their business email address (no gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc)
Vendor / Solutions Provider / Marketing or Advertising Agency Pass

I've registered and I received an email saying my registration is "Pending Approval", now what?
The Fierce Pharma Engage Team will review your registration as quickly as possible to ensure you meet the required criteria for your registration category. Please allow us 3-5 business days to review your registration. You may be contacted for more information like your LinkedIn profile and company website to verify your eligibility and/or you be asked re-register under a different category if your registration was submitted incorrectly.

What exactly is the Fierce Pharma Connect program?
Fierce Pharma Connect is a curated meeting program which takes places during Fierce Pharma Engage. It has been specifically designed to connect decision makers in marketing, medical affairs, communications and BD&L working at biotech and pharma companies with leading suppliers specifically matched to address their unique challenges.
Who qualifies to participate as a hosted buyer?
To be eligible, your current position must be a Director-level or above with direct purchasing authority at biotech, pharmaceutical or medical device company that meets the criteria below.
Applicants' company MUST have a therapy in pipeline or manufactures/markets finished medical devices (AI and technology platforms used for drug discovery and research are NOT eligible)
Applicants' company CANNOT be from an existing event sponsor or exhibitor organization
Applicants' company CANNOT be a CMO, CDMO, CRO, PR, advertising or marketing firm, technology provider, consultant, supplier, or vendor organization
Applicants MUST register using their business email address (no gmail, yahoo, hotmail, icloud, etc)
What are the terms and conditions to attend as a participating buyer?
Your acceptance as a participating buyer includes the following benefits:
All-Access Pass to Fierce Pharma Engage
Personalized schedule of 1:1 meetings with participating vendors
Complimentary Airfare (to be arranged by Questex's travel department and not to exceed $750)
Hotel accommodations for up to, two (2) nights at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront
In exchange for these benefits the buyer agrees to:
Complete a total of at least eight (8) and no more than twelve (12), 1:1 meetings with carefully matched event partners
Prior to event, Buyer will complete their company profile and pre-select companies to meet with onsite via the event app in accordance with event management's deadlines
If Buyer does not select the requested minimum number of meetings, Buyer will be assigned additional appointments by Fierce Pharma Connect
How can I participate as a Supplier?
Suppliers participating in the Fierce Pharma Connect program need to be an existing partner of Fierce Pharma Engage.

Once I am confirmed on the program, what do I need to do?
Fierce Pharma Connect has been designed to be a seamless experience. Once confirmed, all you need to do is access your profile on the Event app (roughly 4-6 weeks prior to the event) and check your profile is complete and rank each buyer/supplier based on the interest you have in meeting them. You do also need to make sure that you are available for ALL scheduled 1:1 meeting times once onsite.
What is GRIP?
GRIP is the mobile app we use to facilitate the meetings of the Fierce Pharma Connect program. It works both on your desktop browser and your phone. We will send login instructions when your profiles have been created.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend that you login from your desktop to complete your event profile and make your meeting selections (more on that below).
Can I choose which buyers/suppliers I will meet?
Yes, to an extent. Around 4-6 weeks out from the start of the Fierce Pharma Engage, we'll send you instructions to access your Fierce Pharma Connect profile and rank each participant based on interest in meeting them. Based on these selections coupled with your signup information, the system will generate a meeting schedule which we will make available to you before arriving. It is very important you engage with this process otherwise you may risk being paired with a buyer/supplier that is not directly of interest.

What days and times will the 1:1 meetings take place?
All participants in the Fierce Pharma Connect Program are required to make themselves available during our 1:1 meeting times (please check below). If for some reason you are not available during these times, please please let the event Fierce Pharma Connect Team know in advance.

What if I miss a meeting?
As a buyer, you have agreed to participate in all scheduled meetings of the Fierce Pharma Connect program and failure to do so will constitute a breach of agreement. In such cases, the Buyer will be required to reimburse event management $750.00 to offset costs associated with their participation.
However, we do appreciate that these things can happen, and when possible we will work with you to facilitate an introduction with the supplier so that you can meet them while onsite or after.

What is the Early Acceptance Program? How do I apply?
During our early acceptance program we are able to fast-track a guaranteed spot for the first 50 qualifying applicants to the Fierce Pharma Connect Program. After January 30th, spots may be limited based on an applicants seniority level and need for our partner's services.
