Bio:

Erin Murphy is a senior corporate affairs leader with two decades of experience shaping communications and advocacy strategies across the biopharmaceutical industry. She has built and led high‑impact programs at companies of all sizes, helping organizations strengthen their reputations, engage meaningfully with patient communities, and advance missions centered on improving lives.

Most recently, Erin served as executive director and head of corporate affairs at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, where she built and oversaw corporate communications and patient advocacy during a period of significant growth. Prior to Mirum, she held a similar role at Dermira, guiding the company’s corporate affairs strategy through its acquisition by Eli Lilly in 2020. Her earlier experience includes corporate communications roles at Pharmacyclics (now AbbVie) and a six‑year tenure at Onyx Pharmaceuticals. While seeking her next opportunity, Erin is enjoying consulting for small companies and advocacy organizations.

 Erin is deeply committed to elevating the voices of patient communities, building strategic and authentic communications platforms, and fostering cultures where employees feel connected to their work and proud of the impact they create within this unique and meaningful industry.
