Gabriel Fung

Bio:

Gabriel Fung, Ph.D., is Director of Corporate Development and Biopharma at Abbott’s Cancer Diagnostics Division. He leads and supports efforts across mergers and acquisitions, strategic licensing, venture investments, and biopharma partnerships to expand Abbott’s precision oncology portfolio through external innovation. Gabriel brings over a decade of experience at investment banks covering the oncology therapeutics landscape, as well as in corporate development roles where he ideated and executed on deal sourcing, transaction structuring, negotiations, and M&A opportunities. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from the University of British Columbia, and is based in San Francisco, California
