Bio:
Jo Ann V. Antenor, PhD, MPH, is a distinguished Medical Affairs leader with extensive experience across nephrology, immunology, neurology, rheumatology, and rare diseases. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, complemented by more than a decade of scientific leadership in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Antenor has served in roles of increasing responsibility—including Senior Medical Science Liaison and Regional Medical Director—where she has guided medical strategy, scientific engagement, evidence-generation initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration for both early- and late-stage therapeutic programs.
Dr. Antenor is recognized for her expertise in scientific communication, clinical insights synthesis, and strategic KOL engagement. She has contributed to multiple therapeutic launches, advisory boards, investigator engagement strategies, and publication planning efforts across a range of therapeutic areas. In addition to her industry leadership, she has served as a mentor for the Medical Science Liaisons Society (MSLS) and taught as adjunct faculty at Jefferson College, bringing a strong educational foundation to her training, presenting, and mentorship roles. Dr. Antenor is deeply committed to advancing innovative therapies and improving outcomes for patients with complex and rare diseases.
