Bio:
As a biotech and pharma change management and communications executive, Lucy consistently delivers impactful strategies that drive business outcomes. Currently, she serves as the Global Head of Culture & Communications at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where she develops leadership communication strategies, designs the organizational culture strategy, manages learning & development operations, and ensures a high-performing, positive, and productive work environment.
She is an early adopter of AI and embeds technology and analytics into her global solutions. Prior to Jazz, Lucy provided strategic counsel to C-suite leaders and senior public relations executives of Top Fortune 100 companies, fostering strong client relationships and trusted partnerships.
At Syneos Health, she led the Organizational Transformation team, which included Internal Communications, Organizational Change Management (M&As, Leadership Restructuring, AI), DEI & Health Equity, and Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) teams. Her unique blend of creative communications strategies, actionable guidance, and data-driven approaches, underpinned by her experience in organizational change and HR, positions her clients for success.
Prior to Syneos, she led Corporate Communications and PR teams for Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, BlackRock, and Merrill Lynch. Her career roots are in journalism, where she honed her storytelling and media expertise at CNN and other local broadcast and print outlets.
Lucy is a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California (USC) completing her research in Organizational Change & Leadership. Her research focuses on how biotech leaders navigate the intersection of policy shifts, investor sentiment, and strategic decision-making during U.S. Presidential Transitions. Lucy earned her M.S. at Syracuse University and B.A. at Rutgers University in Journalism.
Lucy currently serves on two boards, including One We Reach and Martha's Vineyard Black Book Festival. She also serves as a public speaker on Organizational Change in Biotech (Balancing Policies, Investor Sentiment and Leadership Decision-Making), Communications Best Practices, Organizational Culture to Advance Business Strategy, and Organizational Change & AI.
