Bio:
Shamekka Marty, PMP, CSM, BCPA, is a nationally recognized patient advocate, health equity leader, and founder & CEO of Beyond the Game Health—a mission-driven public health platform that merges the power of sports with community wellness, preventative education, and accessible health resources. Her work centers on elevating patient voices and driving systemic change in chronic illness care, especially for underserved and marginalized populations.
A kidney transplant recipient and lifelong caregiver to family members with complex health conditions, Shamekka brings authentic lived experience to policy-level conversations and health innovation. She serves as California Deputy for the Patients Rising Patient Senate and as Chairwoman of the Northern California Paramedic Advisory Board.
Shamekka holds a degree in International Business from Rutgers University, along with advanced professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM), and Business & Clinical Patient Advocacy (BCPA).
A highly sought-after speaker, she has presented at forums including the FDA, the National Minority Health Association, the Annual ASTP/ONC Meeting, and industry conferences on health equity and leadership. She advocates for patient-centered innovation, modernized engagement, and stronger community-centric healthcare systems.
