Bio:

Wendy recently joined Allison Worldwide as Global CEO. Wendy’s career-long experience (and passion) has been to uncover and develop new ways to innovate and create forward-thinking approaches to communications and marketing in today’s dynamic landscape.
Before joining Allison, Wendy rejoined WPP in a newly created role to ensure strong, global WPP-level support for clients worldwide and to further differentiate, diversify, and expand WPP’s footprint in the transforming health sector. She previously served as CEO of WPP’s GCI Health, where she set and carried out the vision to solidify GCI Health as a best-in-class, fully integrated healthcare communications company.


Prior to rejoining WPP, Wendy was Chief Communications Officer at Organon, responsible for overseeing global communications to spin off the first women’s health company of its kind, achieve Organon’s vision, build the corporate brand and reputation, drive commercial growth, and shape the culture of this Merck spinoff.


Wendy began her career in the nonprofit sector, serving as vice president of marketing for Planned Parenthood and vice president of marketing for the National League for Nursing. Throughout her career, Wendy has brought together a number of innovative partnerships with consumer brands. 


Wendy is passionate about improving the lives of women and has been a frequent speaker on unraveling stigmas surrounding women's health issues. She has appeared at several industry events, including SXSW, the Fierce Pharma PR & Communications Summit (chair and host for multiple years), Reuters Customer Engagement USA, the Global Wellness Summit, and others. 


Wendy serves on the board of Jhpiego (maternal health) and as a corporate engagement advisor to the Center for Reproductive Rights.
