Kelli is a senior Medical Affairs operations and strategy leader with 20+ years of experience including supporting investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and collaborativeresearch programs. Her broader Medical Affairs leadership spans operational strategy, governance design, technology enablement, and cross-functional transformation todrive compliant, scalable, and high-impact medical organizations.​

  • Externally Sponsored Research Leadership – Leads operational teams supporting investigator-initiated and collaborative research programs, overseeing end-to-endexecution, governance alignment, and continuous optimization of IIS processes to ensure compliant, efficient study delivery.​
  • Medical Affairs Operational Strategy & Transformation – Served as a Medical Affairs subject matter expert on large-scale operational transformation initiatives, co-developing processes, governance frameworks, and technologies that strengthened compliance and streamlined externally sponsored research workflows.​
  • Technology Enablement & Platform Implementation – Led the implementation of advanced Medical Affairs technology platforms to support IISs, grants, andstakeholder engagement, enabling improved visibility, standardization, and alignment with strategic objectives.​
  • Integrated Medical Affairs Platform Development – Spearheaded the development and global launch of multiple integrated Medical Affairs platforms supporting bestpractices across IISs, scientific communications, medical strategy and planning, medical information, and grant management.​
  • Policy, SOP, & Launch Readiness Support – Partnered with small to mid-size biopharma organizations to develop policies, SOPs, and training programs supporting IISsand broader Medical Affairs functions, particularly during launch readiness and organizational scale-up phases.​

Kelli currently leads the Externally Sponsored Research Leaders Forum, a collaboration of 10 biotech companies focused on advancing best practices in Investigator-Initiated Study operations, compliance, and delivery models. She is recognized for her ability to translate Medical Affairs strategy into practical, technology-enabledexecution that delivers measurable value.
